Her name is Dorrie McLory and she's a real Irish sweetie. I had more fun than usual creating this little red-headed one. Her face is the result of a "How to Make Faces" class I taught several months ago. For ages, she remained one of several disembodied heads in a basket, awaiting a creative surge to fire me up again. Then about a month ago, her body emerged from green stretchy fabric. Eventually, a skirt and several layers of belt came about. Suddenly last week, I grabbed all my beads, fabric scraps, scissors and glue. Thus Dorrie McLory emerged. My new favorite.
