Most of my life is spent within a few miles of home. Once a year I venture out on a vacation of one sort or another. Meaning that I just returned home from a week in Newport Beach, California. With my four former nun friends. This time it was extremely relaxing. Instead of eating out, we bought food and cooked at home. Other than a couple jaunts to the beach, we mainly stayed in our cozy home and giggled, laughed and talked ourselves late into each night. So relaxing. Love my friends and our almost lifelong friendships. One of the many blessings I do not take for granted at all.
