Pretty soon I'm going to have to buy me some cowboy boots, since I'm starting to get serious about learning to do country line dancing. Last night was too much fun and I couldn't believe how many people asked me to dance, even though I'm pretty much a newbie at this whole type of dancing.
Initially I had to talk myself out of staying home and not going anywhere. So did my friends. It's because of their persistance at inviting me (pulling me out of my "stay-at-home" rut) that I've begun to enjoy getting out on the dance floor and strutting my stuff. Even if my "stuff" is still unfamiliar with most of the step. I'm meeting some energetic, intelligent and beautiful people and forgetting to be self-conscious. Like I said, I'm going to have to buy me some new shoes!
