Jan's been ill lately, which has given me time to stitch and put together another beautiful table runner. It will be a gift for Georgie, whose roof has caved in on her business. She's been rather blue since, because progress has been going at a snail's pace. The inevitable wait on lawyers, insurance company, etc. In the meantime, she's set up her grocery store right next to her old one. The space is much smaller and gloomier, but it's continues as the town meeting place, just as her old store was. Many of us stop in every day to "sit and gab a spell"; meet the Locals and have coffee or pop.
