One Boat

At first, sky seems merely smudged
no boats on the river

Opened sky with hint of sunshine
three boats on the river

Heavy clap of thunder
three boats on the river

Blackened sky and rumble of thunder
two boats on the river

Full downpour
two boats on the river

Rainfall on rising river
one boat on the river
