Jessica Watson

I recently discovered a link to Jessica Watson's blog. A sixteen year old Australian girl, trying to set a record as the youngest to sail around the world. Since she's keeping a regular blog, I've been following her progress (often with photos) and realizing that I'll never know what it feels like (thankfully!) to be as alone as this girl is. Sailing all by her lonesome across the southern half of the oceanic hemisphere. Her spunk and ability to write about her daily experience have captivated me.
