It was worth getting up at 5:00 this morning so I could drive two and a half hours to join Jane and Lisa in Goldendale for Doll Club. We also donned "maidenly" spring wreaths and plastic flowers and waved miniature windmills in honor of Spring Equinox. What else are friends for, if not to giggle and carry on and maybe craft a few dolls while we're at it? Add to that, the fact that Jane served up homemade chicken salads, crackers and soda pop for lunch. . . .and topped it off later with apple pie for dessert. What more can we girlie girls ask for?
I couldn't wipe the smile. . .from my lips or my heart . . .for the whole trip home. Now to fall into bed.
