Projects

I launched into sewing mode this past week and completed two dolls and a baby quilt. The old man doll is called “Old World Santa”which I made from a Deanna Hogan pattern. The angel is an adaptation of a “Reets Rags to Stitches” pattern. For the past year or so, I've preferred to make my dolls in monochromatic color themes. This angel’s hair was dyed a rose tone to match her clothing, and her skin is tea dyed. Haven’t decided who I’ll give her to yet.

The baby quilt is for my niece’s first baby, Aydan. Now that she’s moved to Alabama with her boyfriend, she’s far from family. Now off to the post office to mail the blanket.
